From the South Pacific to Canada: As the world ages, the climate changes
Jean Mitchell is a socio-cultural Anthropologist in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Prince Edward Island.
She has been conducting long term research in the Pacific islands (Oceania) where she is now researching the intersection of climate change and social change.
She previously worked with UNICEF in India and the South Pacific and volunteered in Kenya. She is currently the UNESCO Chair in Islands studies and sustainability at the University of Prince Edward Island.
